And with the NEET 2021 results to be out this week, the classes for MBBS of Academic Year 2021-2022 is just around the corner. Before we answer your queries, let us remind you of our eligibility criteria for MBBS admissions at DMSF:

  • The candidates must be 18 years of age with 10+2 or other equivalent degrees.
  • The candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Zoology as mandatory subjects at 10+2 level.
  • The candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% at 10+2.
  • The candidate must qualify NEET.

Q. What is the total course duration for MBBS at DMSF?

A: The total course duration at DMSF for MBBS is for 5 years 4 months. With a total duration of 64 months, the entire course has been divided into 2 phases. The BS program is the 1st phase which is conducted for a duration of 1 year and 4 months at the Indian campuses affiliated with DMSF namely: Transworld Educare Pvt Ltd, Pune & Kings International Medical Academy, Chennai. Post which, the students are transferred to the DMSF campus in the Philippines for them to complete their MBBS degree in the next 4 years.

Q. Is the BS program compulsory?

A: As per the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Medical Council of India (MCI), all students pursuing MBBS must complete the BS program. Without the completion of the MBS program, the MBBS degree will not be recognised and therefore, will be rendered invalid.

Q. Where is the BS program conducted for DMSF?

A: The BS program for DMSF is conducted in two of our Indian campuses namely: Transworld Educare Pvt Ltd, Pune & Kings International Medical Academy, Chennai.

Q. Is NEET Qualification mandatory for MBBS admissions at DMSF?

A: Yes, the NEET qualification is mandatory for MBBS admissions at DMSF. We accept the minimum qualifying score for NEET.

Q. For how long is the NEET score valid?

A: If you are pursuing your MBBS in India, the NEET score is valid for only 1 year. However, if you are aiming to apply for MBBS at DMSF, the NEET score will be valid for 3 years.

Q. When will the classes for the 2021-2022 MBBS Batch start?
